Hot Buttered Rum
A proper cold-weather warmer using Sweet Potato Spiced Rum, brown sugar, butter and Christmas spices. Excellent from late October through Christmas.

Simple steps.
- Add the brown sugar, soft butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and vanilla to a small saucepan.
- Warm very gently, stirring until the butter has melted and the spices are fragrant.
- Add the Spiced Rum and stir through over a low heat; do not allow it to boil.
- Pour carefully into a heatproof mug.
- Finish with a cinnamon stick or a light dusting of nutmeg and serve warm.
